The chemistry of Edwards, Kuettel and Roush Fenway Racing clicked on all eight cylinders in 2007 as the No. 60 Scotts Ford team won the final Busch Series-era Drivers Championship with a 618 point lead.

Edwards had four wins and his consistency kept the rest of the field at bay with a commanding lead for 33-consectutive weeks. He finished the season with 21 top-10 finishes and 15 top-five finishes, Edwards led the championship point standings for a phenomenal 33 straight weeks en route to Roush Fenway Racing’s second Busch Series Drivers title.

Edwards drove double duty in 2007 in the No. 99 Office Depot Ford and the No. 60 Scotts Ford. With a renewed energy and drive Edwards heads into the 2007 season with one goal, to win two championships. Edwards is reunited with crew chief Bob Osborne on the Cup side; the two teamed up in 2005 and made the “Chase for the NEXTEL Cup”. With minimal changes to the Office Depot team, and Osborne back onboard, Edwards and company are considered a top contender for the NEXTEL Cup this year. On the Busch side Pierre Kuettel is back for his second full-season as crew chief and the Busch team is well poised to be one of the top contenders for the Busch Series championship in 2007.

Edwards had a great run with rookie crew chief Pierre Kuettel in the No. 60 Ameriquest Ford Fusion. Edwards moved up one spot from 2005 and finished second in the overall Busch Series standings with a phenomenal record that included four wins, three poles, 15 top-5s and 25 top-10s finishes.
