Fishing was always a family tradition in Jim LoDuca’s childhood home. He grew up fishing for panfish and catfish with mother, father, and sister. As the years progressed, family remained a pillar in the foundation of Jim’s life. For the last 27 years, he has worked side by side with his family for his father’s mobile truck washing business.
20 years ago, Jim met his future wife, who took him on a date to fish at her family’s farm. It was the first time he caught a largemouth bass. Catching that bass further fueled his passion for fishing. While working in the family business was important to Jim, he also knew wanted to dedicate as much time as possible to fishing.
His love for fishing and passion to be involved with the sport led him to gaining successful followship on his Instagram page and YouTube channel, the Tackle Junky. “I knew I wanted to be involved in fishing and since tournaments were out of the question, I turned to social media,” Jim says. He is known for bringing new and innovative products to anglers, from beginners to lifers. He produces videos on everything from boat modifications, tips, tricks, rigging fishing and anything in between.
