Initially lacking direction, Anson Roberts—known to most as "NubGunner"—found his calling in the United States Marine Corps after a chance encounter with a recruiter. His service, including facing an IED attack in Iraq, taught him resilience and determination to NEVER QUIT!
After surviving severe injuries and undergoing many life-altering surgeries and a lengthy recovery, he pursued higher education where he graduated from The Ohio State University in 2009. Anson now motivates others through his actions on social media by partnering with brands that embody the values of supporting and promoting our warriors way of life; such as Wiley X, Team Wendy, Staccato, and Aimpoint USA.
Anson strives to enhance the well-being and protection of service members on and off the battlefield. As an ambassador, he brings the same spirit of resilience and dedication, committed to inspiring and protecting those who push their limits for our freedom.
