Warranty & Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your wileyx.com purchase, please contact our customer care team at (800) 776-7842 within 60 days so we can make it right. Once we receive your product, we will provide you with full credit within 10–15 business days. We are proud to say that we strive to provide the most premium products and we stand behind them. If you experience an issue with your product that is not considered normal wear and tear, Wiley X will warranty your item by repairing or replacing the product at no charge. Wiley X has the sole discretion to determine what is considered a manufacturing defect.

Please send all warranty items using a traceable shipping method as Wiley X is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Please include the RA# on the outside of the package.

All Wiley X, Inc. eyewear and Harley-Davidson® Performance Eyewear by Wiley X are warranted to the original purchaser for life against manufacturing defect in materials and workmanship (except Light Adjusting (L.A.) lenses which have a tint adjustment life of 18 months. Proof of Purchase for L.A. lens products required).

This warranty does not apply to normal wear, including but not limited to scratched lenses, accidental damage, misuse and other issues determined by Wiley X, Inc. not to be a manufacturer’s defect. For Canadian residents the original purchaser must include a shipping, handling and processing fee of $27.00USD (sorry, no checks) with any warranty claim. Tax where applicable will also accompany this processing fee.

Upon receiving returned eyewear that Wiley X, Inc. determines to be defective, we will repair or replace it at our option. Non-warranty repair services are available to our customers as it pertains to lenses or frames that are not covered under the terms of the warranty. We will email customers back with these options and costs should they wish to execute. Items not covered under terms of warranty which are also not repairable will be returned to customer or destroyed at customer’s option.  For Canadian residents the $27.00USD (plus applicable taxes) processing fee will not be charged. 

Scope of Coverage: Wiley X will repair or replace covered items at the sole discretion of Wiley X, as needed and as available (identical or equivalent style) at no charge. Out of warranty items may be repaired (if repairable), replaced, returned or destroyed, at the option and sole expense of the purchaser. Exclusions: This warranty does NOT extend to and excludes (i) any and all Wiley X products purchased through Amazon, Ebay or any non-authorized” 3rd party websites, dealers or labs  (ii) damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratched lenses and broken frames, hinges and nose pieces, (iii) damage resulting from abuse or misuse, (iv) damage resulting from tampering or customer modification, (v) damage resulting from exposure to harmful substances, elements or conditions, (vi) other damage to covered items not resulting from a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship as Wiley X shall decide in its sole discretion, or (vii) lost or stolen items. Proof of purchase is required.

To begin the warranty/repair evaluation process, please fill out the online warranty repair form at www.wileyx.com/about/support/returns. After proper completion of the online warranty/repair form, a Return Authorization (RA) number will be assigned as your reference. Once finished, please print the completed online form with RA# and mail in with returned item. The RA# should be written on the outside of the package. Please allow 7–10 business days from receipt of product to process your claim.

Prescription orders processed through Wiley X, Inc. will have a one (2) year warranty from the date of purchase on frames, lenses and coatings deemed by Wiley X to have manufacturing defects. Prescriptions filled by non-authorized labs will void all Wiley X frame and lens warranties. Prescription frame and lens warranties must be handled through the local retailer / dispensing optician from which they were originally purchased. Frames including prescription lenses which are sent directly to Wiley X without prior authorization will be returned to sender.
